NC International Auto Expo 2009

The North Carolina International Auto Expo 2009 took place February 12-15 at the NC State Fairgrounds and Southern Exhibition Services, a preferred contractor for The Wake County New Vehicle Dealers Association, was there to help make it happen.

To make the NC International Auto Expo a success Southern Exhibition Services took an empty structure with concrete floors and transformed it into a fully decorated show room floor for the dealers. This was an amazing feat of logistics that required decorating and carpeting over 165,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Through the years, Southern Exhibition Services has choreographed equally impressive displays of efficiency upon the completion of this expo. One year, the entire show was dismantled and removed overnight to make room for the next event. Twenty five forklifts and 80 men removed every car, crate and display including two full buildings of wall-to-wall carpet and full ceiling fringe in less than 8 hours! Southern Exhibition Services provided installation and dismantle support for over 28 manufacturers throughout the Auto Expo.
